I was doing Microsoft updates on a machine where the user did not have auto
updates installed. I generally try to take more than just the minimum, the
critical updates. I noticed in the left column, Optional Software Updates,
that Microsoft has KB928388. This patch lets the sytem clock roll over to
the correct new Daylight Savings Time hour a month earlier than in the past,
as will happen for the first time this year. Given that a lot of folks have
apps running for which time might be critical, shouldn't that be a critical
update and be pushed out to everyone. Or does it have to do with the fact
that some parts of the country still don't do Daylight Savings time?
