How to show as offline when WLM signs in

I have my WLM set to sign in automatically, but it always does so showing me
as on-line. Is there a way i can set it to sign in but show me as off-line
till I choose to change it?

Greetings,

Sure is. Just right-click on the Messenger icon in the notification area (by the clock) and
click Sign Out. Then open up the main Messenger window by double-clicking on the icon,
change your status to Appear offline, make sure that 'Remember me' is checked and click Sign
In.

Now, every time you sign in it will sign in as appear offline, until you go through this
process again and change it.
