Shutdown and install

Hello.

When I shutdown my Windows XP Professional I am asked to install the updates
and shutdown automatically.
The computer starts to install 3 updates and shutsdown normally.
Ok so far.

The next time I start working and need to shutdown the computer, I still
have the 3 updates ready to install. I have had the 3 updates for almost a
week and never have been fully installed. On the other hand, I see no error
when shuttingdown.

The updates codes are: KB892843, KB907417 and KB911961.

If I update the computer fom the yellow icon in the tray area, I get an
error that says that these 3 updates could not be installed, but it does not
says why.

What could I do to delete the 3 updates so Windows Update downloads them
again?

Why not let it install and then select Reboot instead of Shutdown. What happens????

Peter,

I've already tried it with no success. The updates are still waiting to be
installed.
