Using Vista Home Premium on a Dell XPS420, installed by manufacturer. No
problems until I installed SP1 a few days ago. Since then, computer hangs
up on shutdown or restart. I have to manually shut it down. Anyone have
any thoughts?
TIA!!

Thanks! I've e-mailed Microsoft's Vista support on Thursday evening,
but no response yet. Wondering if anyone else has experienced this
problem. Joe

The same problem as what? You're posting from a web interface that leeches
Usenet posts. Most of us use real newsreaders to access Usenet so don't see
the post to which you're referring. Please post back with a full
description of your problem per the "How to Post" section below. You might
also want to consider using a real newsreader to access newsgroups. It is
very easy to set up and more efficient than what you're doing. Information
below.

Since you are using a web interface, you may not realize that this is really
a newsgroup. You will get far more out of this resource if you learn to use
a newsreader. There are many good newsreaders for Windows, but you can use
Outlook Express (XP) or Windows Mail (Vista) since you already have it.
Here are some links to information about newsgroups:
