My bad - forgot to specify that it's a laptop. When I say it stays on, the
light in the power button stays lit, as well as one of the led lights by the
mousepad (it looks to be some sort of wireless type indicator but I can turn
it off using the function key along with F2 or one of those - don't have the
laptop with me currently to verify...) The led, to try to describe it, looks
something like this: (((.))) but the . is actually a rather large circle in
the center.
