Shutting down system error

Every time I shut down my system, I get the following error message.
A fatal exception 0D has occurred 0D 0000:0000FF00
the current applicaton will be terminated.

After I press any key, the system will shut down and it will boot-up without
any problems. What can I do to fix the problem.
