Side bar and gadgets

Hello

I am in Canada and my Mum who is 77 lives in UK.

She has a laptop running Visit which I Bought her during the summer while on
vacation.

I usually manage to help her with problems by using remote assistance.

This time I have a problem that I don't seem to be having much success with!

I had originally set up her sidebar with Gadgets that were good for her. Now
she has no gadgets just the sidebar. I have tried to add gadgets but the
page comes up with all available gadgets then they gradually fade until
there is nothing.
Clicking on them before they disappear does nothing.

Could someone give me some advice to what is wrong? Mum loves to see what
the weather is like lol!

Steve

The weather network do a 'weather eye' that will either sit on the sidebar
or in the notification area. It may get you out of a temporary jam..
