Side by Side error help...

I have a CAD program that I always use and suddenly I'm getting a message -
" " The application has failed to start because its side by side config. is
incorrect... see event
log. " Very distressing as I need to use it very soon. I havent got any
idea how to approach this. Google search yields a lot of MSXML stuff and
Visual C++. I'm a little lost and would really appreciate a direction to go
in. Thanks.

I had that with a program and fixed it by installing a C++ patch.
Try searching the KB for the event code
http://support.microsoft.com
I have also seen malware cause that error.
