Sidebar and Aero

My sidebar disappears when I do an Aero 3D display of all open windows, and I
select the desktop. Also, if I hit the show desktop icon in the quick start
menu, the desk top displays without the sidebar. I have sidebar set to
always be on top.

What's the deal?

This is standard behaviour for all applications when switching to the
desktop using either ALT+TAB, WINKEY+TAB (Flip 3D) or the "Show Desktop"
Quick Launch shortcut. The Sidebar is nothing more than "just another
application".

But perhaps this will be addressed with Vista SP1
