With Attensa and Thunderbird, you can select your own feed sources. Firefox,
you have to choose a reader like Attensa or T-Bird. AFAIK all the MS
programs like IE, WM, WLM, and Outlook all use the Common Feed list. With
T-Bird, you can import all your feeds from the CFL. Only specific sidebar
gadget I could find other than those specific to a site, is the one that
ships with Vista. You might try rolling your own gadget though. Sorry
couldn't be more help on this.
