Sign in problem w/ version 8.1 Beta

I have been having problems with windows live messenger 8.1 beta not signing
in. When I start up my msn browser it wouldn't sign in, and when i opened it
by itself and tried clicking on sign-in, it just sat there and didn't do
anything. i even uninstalled it, and reinstalled it and the same thing
happened with the msn browser. when i opened it by itself though, i was
finally able to sign in. known problem? being worked on?

By MSN Browser are we talking about MSN Explorer/8/9/9.1? If so, which one?

The MSN Browser tries to log you into Messenger when you sign in as you're probably aware,
with new versions this has been broken although I honestly don't know the status about WLM
8.1.

I am using MSN Explorer version 9.20.0029.3000. It work ok most of the time
signing me into windows live messenger 8.1 beta with this msn explorer
version, just was having the problem today as i mentioned, and noticed
several others posting about sign in problems also.

I no sooner sent that last post off when my msn explorer browser updated
itself to version 9.50.0034.2000, so that is what i now have....my checking
which version i had may have triggered the update to the latest version or
something.

Wow, to be honest I had no idea they had gotten so high in the versions.

Some day they may even get to version 10
