Greetings,
When transferring an account, it does usually take at least several hours before it goes
through -- I personally have not gone through this process specifically with regards to a
federated e-mail address, so I'm not sure how long it will take or if you'll still get the
message until it fully transfers.
If you do wish to harass Microsoft directly, you can do so by going here:
https://support.live.com/eform.aspx?...ger&ct=eformts
Click on Messenger 8.5, choose any of the links from the FAQ category on the side panel, then
click "Get more help" in the lower right corner of the help topic, then click "Get support"
and you'll be at the support form.
