Signature in an email - driving me crazy

Evening all

I have designed a .html signature for my wife's emails. Now I've got the
source code as follow:

<html>
<head>
<title>Avon signature</title>
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1">
</head>

<body bgcolor="#FFFFFF" text="#000000">
<img src="E:\Avon\logo.htm" width="296" height="125">
</body>
</html>

I've checked so that it will send pictures on the email.

I'm really not sure what to do. It just shows up a box with a red x in it
(Which I find odd...!)

What is the secret ingredient to sort this issue out...

Please help or wifey will not be a happy person

<img src="E:\Avon\logo.htm" ...
You can't reference a HTML file there. It should be a JPG file.
