When I change my signature sound, go offline and then back online, others
don't hear the signature sound I just set, but a previous sound.

Vista Home Basic 32bit
WLM version 2009, build 14.0.5027.908

Greetings Rob,

It takes a bit of time before the new signature sound is transmitted to all your contacts.
In fact, signing out/in prolongs this transfer from happening (after all, you have to be
online for it to transfer), so if you're trying to make others hear it, that really won't
"force" it to send as one might think.

Hello Jonathan,

So if I get it right. First you can change the sound. While being online it
transmits that sound to all online contacts (using WLM9). That means it's
possible that various contacts hear various sounds because they weren't
online when you updated the soundscape?

Greetings,
Rob
