I've created a .html file to be used as a signature. I have
placed a small jpeg (2KB) in the html file (for some reason the file
ends up being 6KB), when I attempt to insert the signature
(insert>signature>signature #1) I get the following message...
Windows Live Mail desktop
----------------------------
"Warning: Your signature files is too large. It has been truncated, please
make the file smaller."
----------------------------
Upon clicking "OK" (only option), I get the following message,
Microsoft Internet Explorer
----------------------------
"Your current security setting prohibit running ActiveX controls on this
page. As a result, the page may not display correctly."
----------------------------
Then an image box with a 'red x' is placed where the signature should be.
In past versions of Outlook you have been able to insert signatures with
image files included. These images were typically done right inside the
signature area in the Tools>Options area though.
Any help would be appreciated.

PS, Is there a way to have a Signature button in the New Message window in
lieu of have to go the Insert>Signature>select route?
