Signing In Problems

Regarding this Update to Live Messenger, i have a big problem, the last time
i installed Live Messenger it started behaving in a strange way every time i
signed in, the problems were e.g. my contact list would not load, it showed
only 8 contacts and all of them offline and if the list loads by chance then
it would not change my status, when i try to change it just says that your
status cannot be changed and signs me out. So, i looked for Messenger 7.5 and
installed and it had been working fine but today this popup made me install
Live Messenger again and i cannot sign in, help Microsoft!!

There were several contacts related bugs in betas of 8.0 that should be
gone. This caused several reports of contacts issues similar to the ones
you are reporting.

There were some small bug fixes between 8.0 and 8.1 that could also help you.

If you haven't tried an 8.x client for a while, give it a try. Over half
the Messenger community is on 8.1.

I should also note your first sign-in with a new 8.1 client will be slow.
Subsequent sign-ins should be faster.

I never used the beta versions and this problem doesnt go away, i mean i jus
tried signing in right now and am facing all the same problems, this is
really annoying u know, dont u think this is some kind of bug as messenger
7.5 and earlier work super fine! help me guys!!
