Signing in to Windows Live messenger failed in Vista

I just updated my computer to vista and tried to sign into MSN, but every
time i try to sign in it says "Signing in to Windows Live messenger failed
because the service is temporarily unavaliable. Please try again later. Error
code 80070005."
Any ideas???

Hi Mark,

Mostly every single time, someone always complains about problems when
upgrading overtop an existing operating system.

Reformat and reinstall Windows Vista, and start from scratch, but move
your Documents, Favorites, Emails and Address Book, off the operating
system's partition, before you begin.

I have the exact same problem, but i have a CLEAN install of vista. Any help
available???
