Silicon Image - Other Hardware - Silicon Image SiI 3114 SoftRaid 5 Controller

I have narrowed down this update as being the cause of a Blue Screen of
Death IRQL NOT Equal error on my Vista Business x64 AMD 4200 build Gigabyte
GA-K8NXP-SLI motherboard.

Curiously it works fine on a AMD 3000 with exactly the same build. I would
therefore seriously recommend not installing this optional update.

To rollback on problems make sure you have a system restore point, boot into
safe mode and restore.

You make a serious error if you install any driver updates from MS Update
Obtain hw drivers from manu sites only, and then if it aint broke dont fix
it, unless it gives greater functionality or cures a bug
