Folks
when I cut and paste from the web to an email , the text always come i
as Times Roman font. I have selected the fonts I prefer in Outlook
Explorer, etc. as my defaults, yet an inserted text still comes in a
Times Roman

Is there a global option I can choose for the preferred font style

thank

It is possible, if not likely, that the text being copied is in Times Roman.
Thus, the paste is in the same font.

If the program you are pasting into has a "Paste Special" option
choose "unformatted". If it has a "Paste without Formatting" option
then use that.

The only other way to strip the formatting information is to paste
into a text editor like notepad as an intermediary, then copy and
paste into the other program. That works well if you have a lot of
text moving to do or if you keep a text editor running most of the
time. (slow, but quicker than reformatting).
