If the program you are pasting into has a "Paste Special" option
choose "unformatted". If it has a "Paste without Formatting" option
then use that.
The only other way to strip the formatting information is to paste
into a text editor like notepad as an intermediary, then copy and
paste into the other program. That works well if you have a lot of
text moving to do or if you keep a text editor running most of the
time. (slow, but quicker than reformatting).
