Hi All!

I just installed IE7 and since this, I can no longer chnage the
font-size in existing chm files. Usually, one ccan do this with pressing
{ctrl}+{mousewheel}.

Is there any fix/solution?

This is really a pain, because the fonts render so small, that my whole
docs became totylly unreadable.

Thanks so far and
bets regards,
mabra

Hi mabra,

Can you change the font size in web pages? There is a group policy setting
to disable zooming of web pages.
Also check your Internet Options - General tab - Accessibility buttons -
check "Ignore fornt sizes specified on web pages".

Hi

and much thanks for your help. I even have the necessary dev-tools and
could decompile the books. But who pays for my time??? I have hundreds
of .chm's ....

But I am not interested and just request from MS that they should not
change system-wide behavior with some product-upgrade.

I just un-installed IE7.

Thanks,
mabra

Hi !

Much thanks first. It's a standalone box, so no group policy.
Additionally, I meant changing the font-size, not the zoom.

"Ignore font-size specified on web-pages" would destroy the whole layout
on web-pages mostly and chnage even the display of your html-mails in
your inbox; What a pain! IE7 can changes the fonts fine, thats new and
good, but disables this possibility for my e-books.

I un-installed IE7 in the meantime :-(

Thanks,
mabra

Oh, you thought anyone in that *2-1/2 year-old* thread was still monitoring
it? Uh huh. Next time look at the datestamps before replying.
