Single Click Instead of Double Click

Some users may prefer to launch applications from icons by single clicking, rather than the trademark double click. If you find it difficult to double click, this could be an ideal solution.

To being, load up Windows Explorer by pressing WINDOWS KEY + E, or by clicking Computer on the start menu:

Name:  singleclick.jpg
Views: 2479
Size:  29.6 KB

Then click Organize > Folder and Search Options:

Name:  singleclick2.jpg
Views: 2438
Size:  24.0 KB

Once the folder options window appears, select Single click to open an item then OK:

Name:  singleclick3.jpg
Views: 2448
Size:  50.5 KB

Now, when you see an icon you can hover the mouse pointer over it and single click to load the application
