Hello All,
I'm wondering if there's a way to create a single unattend/answer file that
can be applied to all versions of Server 2008? We have a volume license key
that can be applied to the 64-bit versions of Windows 2008 (Standard,
Enterprise, and Datacenter). Aside from the versions, all other options we
would specify in the Unattend.xml file are identical and it's a pain the butt
to maintain 3 different versions of what is otherwise the same file.
We create the Unattend.xml files via Windows System Image Manager and if we
try to load an answer file that was created for a different version of
Windows, we get a warning (for example we have the SERVERENTERPRISE image
loaded and attempt to open an Answer File created for SERVERSTANDARD). Can I
ignore this warning and use the same answer file or will I run into problems
down the road?
Thanks,
