Am I the only one satisfied with Vista and thinking about skipping
Win7? I am not a neophyte Beta tested, ran the RC, and am dual booting
the demo of the Enterprise 64 version currently. I am satisfied with
Vista. I work in field support in a school system in an XP
environment. I probably up until using Vista first of the year spent
90% of my time using Ubuntu Linux at home. I upgraded my hardware
quite a bit when purchasing a computer with Vista and I really like
it. Even though I have MS Office and Outlook, I also sometimes like to
use Windows Mail. There has been a load of crap dished out about
Vista, but in its current form with proper hardware, I find it quite a
good experience. I know about the benchmarks, but I have no issues in
my day to day use of Vista. It is the product that turned my Linux
useage from 90% at home to about 5%. Though I am impressed with
Windows 7, it is just not to me supremely better. I guess Vista has
quickly become and old pair of shoes for me. Comfortable.

Whatever floats you boat. If you're happy with it and it fits your needs,
I wouldn't see any reason to change. CHOICE is where it's at!

I work at several schools and worked for Dell prior to that. Being a
laughing donkey happy with a bail of hay is better that going for not
much better than the same old ****, because they say it is a sugar cube.

You know what they say: Dogs are to scooters as Hay is to Poles.

You are right, it is not supremely better. It's just a slightly
imporved version of Vista. It will be a real laugh seeing all the
Vista haters smugly claiming how great Win7 is when you and I both
know it is basically the same as Vista. I'm using he RC of Win7 right
now and already purchased Win7 Home Upgrade but only because I got it
for over 50% off when Microsoft had the pre-order price going for
about a month or so. I would be fine with either Vista or Win7 though.

Vista is certainly obsolete.

XPee still rules where I am. No plans on changing any time soon and I
hear the execs want bonuses so the budget is being squeezed. Win 7 too
will be off to a bad start.

Just FYI. Remember to say Just FYI. Just FYI. Just FYI.

What are you doing with all that State money for not working? Just FYI.
Just FYI.

Windows 7 is rock solid. Been using it since the beginning of August. I
think it will do well.
