Hello
Can you please explain the differences between standby, sleep and Hibernate.
Looked it up but just tells my how to do it, not which does which.

These are very slippery terms with no true fixed meaning. Some will use
them interchangeably and others won't.

In general both "standby" and "sleep" are regarded as low-power states where
the computer is mostly powered down but memory is kept intact and ready for
a fast restart. Hibernation almost always refers to a state where memory is
saved to the hard drive and the computer completely powered down.
