Slide Show/gadgets

Vista Ultimate; it appears that only jpeg images can be displayed in the
gadget slide show. Is that true?

The gadgets are basically just HTML pages, so anything that displays in a
browser should display in a gadget. Unless the side show gadget is itself
filtering out some of the file types, that is - I've not looked at the code.

Hi Mark, I save a lot of my images in .tif format, not only will they not
show in gadgets, but I cannot use a .tif file as a screensaver. Did not have
that problem with XP. Any thoughts?
