Slow browsing of DFS folders

I've got 3 Windows 2003 servers all set up with DFS and also running terminal
services. Users can log onto the server and browse quickly through DFS
folders for ashort while and then they'll hang for up to 5 minutes for the
next folder to show the contents.
All replication is working fine, and all users hit the DFS server on their
own site, so no traffic is going over the WAN links. All performance counters
on the servers show no issues.
I've applied the patch for KB915377, but this hasn't resolved the issue.
I've also rebuilt one of the servers and only with a single user logged on
the issue will reoccur.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Hi Paul,

The Patch you just installed on the Windows Server only or both XP Client
also installed?

I also have the same case like you, but I just installed the Patch on XP
Client.

My Server are R2 version x64, XP have both domain based and non domain based
with SP2 or SP3...

Sometime it also hang, but just within one minutes.

This look like Microsoft make something wrong
