slow delete copy move and torrents not work hard drive thing

Ok this is a wierd problem. I have 3 hard drives - all check out fine as far
as chkdsk and bad sectors etc. It is a NTFC format - and the problem is only
new.

When copying file to hard drive e.g., +100Mb it takes forever - starts out
fast than slow to Bytes per second. Also, vista media center is having a hard
time recording - if it does, and torrent programs are coming in with hard
disk writing errors - on all of them.

This is driving me crazy. All drivers are up to date

4 gig ram
