Slow downloads after SP2 install

I have 2 machines that I installed SP2 on. After the install both of these
machines
became incredibly slow accessing web pages. Is there a fix for this or
should I just go back to SP1? The machines are both 2.8ghz and I have
broadband. The difference in speed does not make this upgrade worthwile.
Please help...
