I have a little problem it takes 60 or so seconds to load my home pages. This
just started. It also takes longer to load the other pages. I checked for
virus and spyware there was none. Anyone got any ideas.

Do you have Spybot and or Spyware Blaster installed and used the 'immunize'
function(s)?

That may be related to your 'slowness'--it was for me (after a recent Vista
security update).
I removed all the immunized/blocked 'sites'-- from the security dialog
within IE by removing all references to such in the registry (which is much
faster than deleting them individually within IE), and all the slowness went
away.
Spybot is due to be updated soon (currently in Beta):
http://www.safer-networking.org/en/index.html

Whether this will fix the issue is unknown by me.

What I did was open the IE Properties/Security Tab/Restricted Sites/Sites
Button.
That will show you a VERY long list (which may be why it slows things down
so much). Then I just picked one at random and did a search for it in the
Registry, then deleted the entire Key that contained all of them. Then
rebooted, and all was well. List within the IE dialog should then be empty.

It may also be possible (and easier?) to REMOVE the immunization protection
from within Spybot somewhere, but I had already uninstalled it by then
first, and all the sites remained in the list.

Hi Max I tried to do it from IE but couldn't so I did it from spybot. So far
it looks like that did the trick. I'm going to watch it for a few days and
see what happens. Cant understand why can do it from registry. Thanks and
have a great week.
