slow packet writing CDRW

I'm using vista's built in packet writing for my CDRW and it took 5 minutes
to copy 23 megs. Should be about 30 seconds. Do i need aftermarket software
to get my tohsiba cd/dvd burner in my dell E521 (2.6G AMD/2GB RAM) to run
faster? I already have Roxio burning software but i don't see anything fo
packet writing. Thanks in advance

Neither the XP or the Vista CD burning is much good.

Get CDBurnerXP from

I tried that software but its only for burning cd/rs, not packet writing
CDRW. Anyone else know of some good packet writing software besides Vistas
built in software.
