Open support calls for windows update.
Only many people complaining about their brtoken software will make them
want to do something.
Windows update is broken by the last round of updates, evident by the
massive increase in posted issues with it over the last two weeks.

After perfororming a Disk Cleanup, download the update directly
and install it.

that does not fix the problem.

Instead of continually poting old, useless fixes for old problems, why don't
you foce MS to do some real investigative work to find the cause and fix it.

Also, formatting and installing windows and no other software is NOT a
solution.
That's a JOKE.

it does that because the updates don't really install no matter what is done
and if forced, breaks everything.
