Got a small home Vista network,
2 pc's (A: Cat5 Desktop (Vista Premium), B:Wireless Laptop (Visat Home))
Thompson Router
Vista Extender
PC A: can see all devices, PC B and its public folders
PC B: can see all devices but not PC A?
Both run Norton 360's firewall
Both can access Internet through router
ANy ideas why A can see B but B cannot see A:?

Trev
Thanks in anticipation

Can you ping A by IP from B? If not, try to disable Norton for a test or do
clean boot.

Hi
Make sure that the Software Firewall on each computer allows free local
traffic. If you use 3rd party Firewall On, Vista/XP Native Firewall should
be Off, and the active Firewall has to adjusted to your Network IP numbers
on what is some time called the Trusted Zone (consult your 3rd Party
Firewall instructions.
