I have just installed Vista and now I find that my web pages
are about 2/3 the size of what they were.
How do I change the size of my web pages.?
It is not just the font but the whole page.

Help would be appreciated.

Fresnel lens?

Move your chair closer to the screen?

Thick glasses?

Hmmmm....Microsoft Magnifier....

Oh wait, I know! Run 64 bit Vista! Then they'll be twice
as big! (Or is that half as small, I never could keep track of that
big end little end stuff...)

Left-click on the edges, hold it down, and drag them out to the size you want.

My guess is that your system is using a higher screen resolution than
before. It is also likely that it is now using the correct native
resolution for your screen now, when it was not before.

If this is correct, it would be better for you to change your font DPI,
rather than lower your screen resolution, if you are having trouble reading
the text.

You barely know how to tun your computer on and off. You shouldn't be
giving advice yet.

The easiest way to change the size of what appears in internet
explorer (and most other programs) is to hold down the Ctrl key and
scroll the mouse wheel. One way makes it bigger, the other smaller.

Lacking such a wheel... use the "+" or "-" keys on the keypad

But changing the system font DPI setting is system wide, and would be the
preferred way for someone who feels that the text is too small for their
eyesight.

It might be the "zoom" function of the browser.

In Firefox the "zoom" is under View > Zoom.

In IE, as mentioned above, it's in the bottom right hand corner of the
browser status bar.

Other browsers (Chrome, Opera, Safari etc would have similar zoom
functions).

You could also use the scroll wheel on your mouse; hold down the Ctrl Key on
the keyboard, and scroll the mouse (it will make the screen i.e. the whole
webpage itself appear larger/smaller.

Not saying this is the trouble you've got, but it's a start.

A second option would be to change the screen resolution in Windows go to
the Personalize options and change the Display settings.
