SmartHeap library mem_bad_pointer Error on Vista

I installed AUTOCAD LT 98 on Windows Vista.
But when I open the AUTOCAD program I get a "SmartHeap Library
mem_bad_pointer" Error.
Is there any way to get AUTOCAD to work???
I tried to change the Compatability to "98", thinking that might fix it but
it didn't.
Can anybody help me?

AUTOCAD LT 98 is apparently not supported on Windows Vista.
