From my PC, I used another MSN Messenger account to send a text message to
the MSN Messenger account that my cell phone is linked to and it took 6
minutes for it to arrive. It did not have a quick number associated with the
contact, but a number that increments each time I receive a new message.
When I reply to the message, it is not received by the MSN Messenger contact
that sent it. And days later, I will get a text message on my phone that
said the message was undeliverable.
I signed up for Yahoo's Mobile messaging a couple of days ago and it works
fine. Messages I send from my phone are received by the Yahoo Messenger
recipient immedialy, And I am receiving messages from Yahoo Messenger
contacts immediately as well. I can send a text message to the service
number and receive a list of contacts. I cannot do this with MSN Messenger.
I don't have the service number, however, I think it is 67671000. when I
send a text message with CL to that number to receive a contact list, I do
NOT get a reply with the list. I have gone to
http://mobile.msn.com and I do
not have an option on that page to have it resend the welcome message that
contains the service number. I have even gone as far as to delete my account
on the website and sign up again in hopes that I would receive a new welcome
message but that didn't work
I have contacted support regarding this and was told that my issue had been
forwarded to the product specialist team, but that was 5 days ago and I have
not heard anything back. So I'm hoping someone in this forum may have an
idea of how to fix it.
