Snipping tool won't run anymore

I have Vista 64-bit SP2. The Snipping Tool was running and looked nice
to have. But after that first run where I was checking it out, it never
ran again. If I click the icon, nothing happens. I watched the task
list in Task Manager. That ever so briefly lists a new task before it
vanishes. I also tried running the tool as an administrator. That had
the same results.

Check that you have 'Tablet PC Optional Components' enabled in 'Windows
Features'

Control Panel > Programs and Features > Turn Windows Features on or off

First, I don't think that Snipping Tool should be part of Tablet PC
stuff. Second, I now get the blank error dialog shown in

But the snipping tool is part of the tablet PC option. If that i not
on, there is no snipping tool. As an alternative, you could try this
one: 'A+ Freeware - Multimedia & Design - FastStone Capture 5.3 (last
freeware version)'

Whether you think the Snipping Tool should be part of the Tablet stuff or
not, it is and if you don't have the Tablet stuff enabled your Snipping Tool
won't work.

So make sure your Tablet stuff is enabled as Jon suggested.

I did. That is when I got the dialog previous mentioned. Before that,
I got nothing all at.
