Is 'Snooze' time synced?

On my PPC (an HTC Touch Pro 2) I got a pop-up window when an Outlook
2002 task (entered on my PC) reached its reminder time. Unfortunately
it only offers 'Dismiss' or 'Snooze', and the latter is a fixed, short
time, about 5 minutes. So, I clicked Snooze anyway, then in Outlook
2002 changed the reminder time to about 8 hours later today. I cradled
my PPC, and clicked Sync in AS just in case. But I'm still getting the
messages on my PPC every 5 minutes.

Can I conclude from this that there's no syncing or integration of the
two snooze times? If so, seems a very obvious design flaw!

Presumably I have to click Dismiss instead of Snooze, which doesn't
seem intuitive to me. Makes me worry that I'll never get a warning on
the PPC at the later time...
