So I did something really stupid...

My Recovery D portion was full cause I, like other people on here, pu
my back-up files there. Well instead of coming here first stupid m
figured "Hey, factory defaults? That'll give me a ton of room!

So I restored it and now it appears Im out of luck if my syste
crashes..

Is there something I can buy that'll put the factory defaults back o
my PC

It's a little unclear to me what you did by restoring it, but if you
neglected to create physical CD/DVDs for the Restore Disks just call up the
laptop mftr. and order them. HP, for instance, only charges around $20 to
send you the disks.

Contact the manufacturer to see if they offer a recovery disk. Be honest and
tell them what you have done, as a recovery disk "may" need to access that
which you have deleted.

Dell issues one free restore DVD and assorted factory CD's per PC purchased.
I know cause I got them!
