Hello,

first, sorry for my poor english ;-)

I am searching for an application that permit a remote control session
for one computer to another but with the trafic initiated from the
controlled computer.

Indeed, we have some people that need to connect to a specific computer
in our LAN.
We want to control what and when they are connected and we dont want to
expose and open a specific port on our client computer in our LAN.

So we want an application that will create a onetime remote control
session initiated from the client computer in our LAN (and so with no
specific firewall rule in our LAN).

Do you know any software that is doing so ?

Thank you !

Hello Eric,

Is someone on the server when they try to connect? I never heard about a
software that will invite someone without manual interaction.

Best regards

Thanks a lot,

this is exactly what I am searching for ... BUT ...

When I read the security specifications of the application I can see
that the trafic is first routed to a master TeamViewer server.

So the TeamViewer server can potentially see the whole trafic between
those two computers :/

Do you know any other solution that will create a direct connection
between the controlled computer and the remote client (of better
between a controller computer, a remote client and a third party server
installed on our network ?)
Indeed, with a third party server installed on our network, we could
restrict the use of this solution to specific computers in our LAN).

I hope I am clear enough

Thanks again

Eric,
If you are concerned about the security of a third party broker have a look
at these two:
http://www.gotoassist.com/en_US/technology.tmpl
http://www.gotoassist.com/downloads/...hite_Paper.pdf

In the end it is just marketing. These products are positioned as SaaS, but
you can buy the broker server if you really want to run your own,

On a LAN, this can be achieved very simply with VNC, in 'reverse' mode.
