"Software Update Incomplete" Error 0x800B004

When doing the Windows Update I get the following error:
"Software Update Incomplete" Error 0x800B004

I tried lowering the security level on the internet explorer, deleted all
temporary internet files, deleted files from the Windows Update folder and
removed the Windows Update ActiveX controls as suggested in a Microsoft
article. However the problem still persists.

Any suggestions?
