software that won't install

i have a ftp site software that tells me it is installed,but its not. the guy
who manufactured it died. before he died he said it would not work correctly
with vista. he said he was working it. now he's dead and i'm in a jam. help

There are other FTP software programs out there. Some are even free. Give
up the one you have and move forward.

Hi Michael,

Unless you have the source code, can understand it, and are familiar with
programming for Vista, then there isn't much you are going to be able to do
with it. If it's installed, remove it and find a different product to suit
your needs, as it's not going to get better.

Wow... that's, uh, hilarious? Uninstall it and try another FTP program.
Or... conduct a seance and see if the author thinks his FTP program might
work with Vista after he's entered the afterworld? (Sorry, just kidding...
couldn't resist.)
