Softwares that try to connect to remote repositories fail.

Hi Folks,

Here is a strange issue that I face with vista.Softwares like
subeclipse(Eclipse plugin to connect to cvs,svn) and rapidSVN that try
to connect to remote repositories to get updates say fail mentioning
that there were "Network problems encountered during search"


I am running theses tools as administrator and they are installed on
the C drive.

Note: eclipse is not an installed software and it does not show up in
the add/remove software menu.

Any pointers will be of great help.

All these tools used to work perfectly well on Windows XP
Wonder whats different :-(

Figured it out. WINDOWS live one care was blocking all sorts of
network activities.Unistalled it and everything started working
