soldier of fortune 2 gold edition

my soldier of fortune 2 gold edition keeps crashing while i am playing. is
there something that i can do to stop this from happening

Make sure you have updated video drivers and all Windows updates. Also, make
sure the game has all the needed patches.

The Gold edition is the latest update they made. I have to right click on
the desktop shortcut and select "run as administrator" because of punkbuster
issues with vista.
