Thank you.
And how can I get Vistas's Solitaire to install it in XP? I have legal OEM
versions of both Vista Business and Home XP.

I don't understand where the problem is. Just simply install it like any
other program.

The problem is that I don't have Vista Instalation CD. It was purchased
already installed in a new machine (OEM). I would like to install the
Solitarire Game (not all OS) of Vista in another machine which runs XP. How
can I do? How can I extract Solitaire Game out of the OS?

Thank you.

You can't "just simply install it like any other program" because it isn't
like any other program - it's a "feature" of an OS, not a separate game that
you can just nip into Woolworth's and buy.

Best I can offer is: on the Vista machine, find out where the Solitaire
shortcut points to. Copy that file to the XP machine and see if it runs. I
doubt it will, but give it a try. If it throws up an error message about a
file being missing, find that on the Vista machine and copy that across too.
Repeat as necessary; if it still doesn't work, look for likely-named files
that could help. Bit of trial and error, like. Pioneering spirit, that sort
of thing. Just don't *overwrite* any XP files with the same name - try a
separate, new folder if necessary.

Or, of course, do some research on the Web, eg via Google. I just did, and
there seem to be a couple of hacks out there that might do you.

Thats how I got some of my old 95/98 games onto W2k/XP.

Copied just about all the games I ever had and then tried each game and
copied needed Dll's and similar.

Up till Vista the success rate was 90%.
With Vista, so far that same process is about 15%.

But I am not yet done anyway, as this time I figure about half of the
games are not worth the effort anymore, unlike the past.
