Solution for 0x80070643 error!

I tried every single solution proposed here for the 0x80070643 error I got
when trying to install updates for Office 2003. None of them worked for me.

I did a lot of sleuthing and came across this article which desribes the
problem and finally allowed me to fix it!!!

The updates install with no problems now.
