SOLUTION to 0x80072F76

The solution to my problem was to CLOSE DIAL UP ACCELERATOR. When I went back
to Windows Update, it was working fine. Hope it is as simple as this for
those of you to are having this problem.

Closing my dial up accelerator worked for me too! Thanks for the tip.
