Hello,

I had this problem a few days ago. Microsoft didn't knew the answer and
didn't want to help! The problem started when I formatted my PC. I installed
everything and did a Update.. He asked me to reboot. Once I rebootted, he
keeps rebooting. I only could get to safe mode and do system recovery. I had
SP1 on that time!

The solution..

1) Go to Safe Mode
2) Do system recovery (back to the minute before you did the update)
3) Then If your PC reboots normal.. download SP2 from the downloadcenter

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=nl

4) Just install it over your SP1!!
5) Reboot
6) Complete all the updates!

This worked for me.. Problems are ALL gone!
PLease let me know if it worked for you!!

Mail:

And yes I am a girl We girls can handle everything!

I don't want to cast a cloud over your parade, but...

Some people/businesses do not want or use SP2 just yet.
Some people/businesses do not use System Recovery (for virus protection
reasons).

Side note: You may not want to post your email address into a newsgroup
message, you will probably get a lot of spam (there are automated agents
that harvest NG messages for email addresses).

With that being said, I am glad it worked out for you - but it's hard to
make a general statement that will work for all situations!
