How to solve APPCRASH Problem in Vista

When ever I am trying to install a new software on Vista the followin
Error happens:

Problem signature:
Problem Event Name: APPCRASH
Application Name: MsiExec.exe
Application Version: 4.0.6000.16386
Application Timestamp: 4549af77
Fault Module Name: StackHash_00d6
Fault Module Version: 6.0.6000.16386
Fault Module Timestamp: 4549bdc9
Exception Code: c0000374
Exception Offset: 000af1c9
OS Version: 6.0.6000.2.0.0.256.6
Locale ID: 1033

So what's in the files that describe the problem.
Have you looked in the System Eventlog for the error?

Lana,

Hard to figure these issues out from our end but the first thing I'd do is
go to the ATI Radeon site and download & install the latest drivers for your
video card (atiumdva.dll is an ATI file). If you haven't done this since
8/25/2010 you should have updated drivers available. You will need to know
what series ATI Radeon card you have, 7, 8 or 9 series. Here's the link
