some fonts deleted

My eight year old deleted some fonts! I cannot read infomation bars. Any way
to recover? I do not have start-up disc. wasinstalled when I bought comp.

Windows version? How does your question pertain to Windows Updates?

Windows XP, After update cannot read instuctions in information bar.

First you said your kid "deleted some fonts" and now you're saying a recent
Windows Update caused the problem? Explain, please, and tell us what
updates you just installed.

I did not say windows update caused the problem. I asked if there was a fix
to my deleted fonts
