1: Wouldn't be all. Someday, maybe this century. Until then, use Skype or iChat.
2: The "click" to get information is really there already (aka contact card), to be fair.
There are 3 things I want to see from each contact on my list -- their display name, psm and
their display picture (and not the small tiny size that's impossible to see). Having to click
for such information I feel is ridiculous (although I highly support less information as an
option if people want it).
